During the weekend of Grandma’s Marathon--June 18-19, 2010--members and supporters of the Land Trust offer rooms in their homes, and in some cases their entire home, to out-of-town guests for a suggested donation. All proceeds benefit our affordable housing work. "My experience with the Land Trust was incredible. My hosts treated me like family and really went out of their way to take care of me. I expected to have a place to sleep near the finish line but I got so much more!" -Heather, a runner/participant in 2008. We can accommodate large groups as well as individuals and couples. Suggested donations range from $50-$500. No minimum stay is required. To reserve a room or browse our list of available rooms/homes, click here. Trust in the Land: A Celebration of Local Fine Food & Beverages is the Land Trust’s largest and most popular fundraiser of the year. It features the area's finest locally-owned restaurants and vendors offering appetizers, entrees, desserts, wine, micro-brewed beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Enjoy live music by Two For the Road and Sweetgrass--plus a silent auction featuring a variety of high-quality art, gifts and services.
